The ministry of Arts & Environment seeks to give praise and glory to God through enhancing the beauty of the church for the celebration of Mass. No training required! Some of the works that we do:
Beautifying and decorating the church in keeping with all liturgical guidelines.
Floral arrangement, sewing, fabric arts, crafts, decorating, and visual art skills also are appreciated!
What's the commitment?
Our greatest need is for people who can prepare the church for Sunday liturgy, which often includes arranging flowers. Most of the people who arrange flowers have never done so professionally, and many have never even arranged them at all before.
If you would be willing to help, you will choose the dates you would like to assist one of the experienced team members. You will "shadow" and assist until you are comfortable on your own. There is also a need for people who only want to assist this work, which they can do by cleaning vases, replacing candles, sweeping, dusting, etc.
