Greeters Ministry

Greeting people is an opportunity to extend warmth and hospitality both to visitors and members of our parish

To become a Greeter, all it takes is to arrive early for Mass once or twice a month and stay for a few minutes after Mass to welcome guests and parishioners, being ready to answer questions they might have.  Members of the Greeter Ministry are also on hand to greet family and friends attending funerals and other special events at Our Lady of Angels.

Members of the Greeter Ministry want every family to realize that they are very important part of to our faith community and that we look forward to their participation in the many activities that Our Lady of Angels has to offer. In so doing, they help people know more clearly about God’s love for them through His Church!

Greeters who are age 18 and older must complete safe environment requirements. Youth may also serve as greeters while preparing for confirmation and after being confirmed.
