September 30 - October 1 is Bundle Weekend benefiting the SVDP Truck and Thrift Stores in Plano and Dallas. Drop off your gently used items on Saturday morning (8:00 am-noon) or after Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday.
All are invited to participate in the Mass of Remembering on Saturday morning at the 8:30 am Mass. For anyone whose lives have been touched by the loss of a child, born or unborn, the circle of grief is wide. The grieving process is never over. We will always remember and love the one(s) no longer with us. We ask you to bring a photo of your loved one to be placed before the altar for this special Mass. For Catholics, October is the month of the Holy Rosary. A month of devoted to praying the Rosary in honor of the Blessed Mother. The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is October 7. We are encouraged to pick up our prayer beads and recite the Holy Mysteries every day. To celebrate this beautiful month, OLA's Our Lady's Rosary Group invites you to visit their display following Mass on Saturday, September 30/Sunday, October 1 and choose a rosary to take home.

OLA Knights 13044 will host their 21st annual Golf Tournament with a 12:30 pm shotgun start. This fundraiser features, lunch, dinner, keg and round of golf at The Courses at Watters Creek in Plano. OLA will host a Baby Shower benefiting Bella House on the weekend of October 7/8. A crib will be located in the Narthex to accept diapers (N-5), wipes, strollers, swings, layette & bedding items, children's clothing (0-2T), cleaning and paper products, as well as gift cards and cash. Bella House is a faith-based residence for homeless pregnant women in Dallas and Collin Counties.

OLA Parish and the Pastoral Council will conduct a coat drive on Saturday, October 14 at the Parish Picnic, as well as at all Masses on the weekend of Oct 14/15. Boxes will be located on the weekend in the Narthex. We are asking parishioners to bring a new or gently used coat or jacket for ages 5-15. All coats collected will be distributed to kids in our community in the Allen area.
