We are so happy to be able to Welcome you back to Sunday Mass. Please register for seating and see the information below. If you do not feel comfortable in returning to Sunday Mass, please know that we will continue to record and post a video on our website for you to view. Our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Updated information: Seating is limited. If you are an Usher, Greeter, Eucharistic Minister, or Lector, you will need to reserve a seat in our Worship Center along with your family.
If you register for seating and cannot attend for any reason, please text 214-334-6314 or contact Paula Chisolm at pchisolm@ourladyofangels.com to change or delete your reservation.
· Masks are required to be worn when entering Our Lady of Angels. Please bring your face covering and hand sanitizer. Sanitize before entering the Worship Center and before receiving Communion.
· Reservations are required to attend Mass. To reduce crowding and maintain social distancing in our Worship Center, you are asked to reserve your seat. Once we are at our capacity, the registration will close. Everyone who registers will receive an email confirmation.
· We have contracted with a cleaning service to clean and sanitize the entire building after Mass.
· We will continue to email you the link to Sunday Mass and it will also be available on our website.
· If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms please stay home. Vulnerable members and caregivers are strongly encouraged to not attend Mass at this time. Please view the Covid-19 symptoms at https://www.collincountytx.gov/healthcare_services/Pages/publicguidance.aspx.
· Please have your mask on before entering the building.
· Please try to maintain 6 feet between yourself and others for social distancing.
· You will enter and exit through the main Worship Center doors. Doors will be propped open so there is no need to touch them.
· Ushers will assist you with seating and exiting the building.
· Water fountains are closed.
· The nursery/cry room, kitchen, and sacristies are off limits to parishioners.
· Please arrive early to allow time to be seated.
· Every other row of seats is roped off. Seating will begin at the front of the Worship Center to the back. Please enter the row, move to the end and leave 3 seats between your family and the next.. Naturally those in the same family will be able to sit together. Note, you will not be able to sit in your “normal” place.
· Once Mass has started, the doors to the Worship Center will close and those arriving late may not be allowed into the building.
· The Holy Water Font will not be used.
· Hymnals and worship aids will not be used.
· There is no holding of hands during the Our Father except with your family.
· No shaking of hands at the Sign of Peace.
· Though you are at Mass, you do not need to receive Communion. You are free to forego the reception of Holy Communion and make an Act of Spiritual Communion instead.
· For your safety and the safety of our ministers, we ask you to receive Communion in the hand. Distribution of the Precious Blood remains suspended at this time.
· Ushers will direct your row to receive Holy Communion. Please receive the host in your hand your mask on, step aside, place the host in your mouth and return to your seat. Please follow the taped lines on the floor to insure proper distancing.
· No offering baskets will be passed. A large collection basket will be placed in the Narthex for you to drop your envelopes or place your donation. You can also continue mailing your contribution or use online giving option.
· When Mass has ended, you will be dismissed by rows starting at the back. Please wait in your row in order to ensure a staggered exit that maintains social distancing.
· Once dismissed, please do not linger in the Narthex.
· A cleaning service has been hired to clean and sanitize the entire building, spraying all chairs and kneelers, wiping down all hard services, and cleaning restrooms This specialized cleaning will be done on a daily basis after each Mass. This is a huge expense to the parish but one that is necessary to ensure your safety and those around you.
· If you or your family members are experiencing any flu or virus like symptoms, please stay home. We miss all of you and look forward to the day when we can all be together again safely.
