The Diocese of Dallas is looking for faithful, committed Catholic men to answer the call to the diaconate. Good deacons can be a great asset to the local Church. Classes begin in September for a 6-year period of formation. Those interested in applying should attend an informational session. Please visit cathdal.org/deacons or email diaconate@cathdal.org to find out who can apply, and how to attend an information session.
Are you seeking answers about being a priest, brother, sister or consecrated lay woman? Get answers to your questions on June 11-13 at the University of Dallas' Vocation Discernment Weekend. If you are looking (or know someone who is looking) for ways to spend your life providing service to others; if you are single, Catholic, 18 to 40 years of age and have an interest in learning about the ministry, join a group of other men and women seeking similar answers to their questions. The weekend consists of talks, panel discussions, consultations and prayer conducted by professional religious staff. The weekend is held at the University of Dallas, Irving, (a Catholic University) and pre-registration is required. For more info please contact the Dallas Diocese Vocations Office at 214-379-2860 or contact Fr. Leonard at eleonard@cathdal.org or visit the website at www.vapinfo.org.
