The Mass or Eucharistic Liturgy is called the "Source and Summit" of the life of the Church. Our Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is the center of the parish's worship life. Daily Mass, the celebration of sacraments, and private devotional prayer such as Eucharistic Adoration each complement the weekly celebration of the Liturgy.

The practice of requesting a Mass to be offered for loved ones, living or deceased, is a beautiful and wonderful part of our Catholic tradition. Continuing this long-standing Catholic practice, Our Lady of Angels welcomes requests for "Mass Intentions" from parishioners. You can remember someone who has died recently or many years ago. But the intentions do not have to be just for the dead. They make beautiful gifts for any special occasion: birthday, anniversary, in thanksgiving for a prayer answered, etc. And to offer an intention for someone who is struggling with a serious illness or other life trauma shows you want the Lord to support them in their need.
Mass intentions are requested through the Parish Office. A special envelope is available to fill out with the name for the intention, requested date, and Mass time, and name of the person requesting the intention. Cash and checks made payable to Our Lady of Angels are accepted at the time of the request. Mass cards are available when scheduling your request.
