Our Lady of Angels First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion Sacramental Prep is a Two-Year Process.
Our bishop is tasked with the responsibility to help his flock grow in their faith, so he asks all Diocese of Dallas parishes to provide two years of preparation for those seeking to receive these Sacraments. 

Year 1 Sacrament Preparation is for:
Any 1st grader; as well as any second through fifth grader who did not participate in faith formation last year.
And should include:

• • Attendance of scheduled in-person family formation sessions at Our Lady of Angels.
  •  Session instruction with a Sacrament catechist two times in the Fall.
  • Weekly Mass attendance (in person or virtual) as a family.

• • Attendance of scheduled in-person family formation sessions at Our Lady of Angels.
  • Digital online Sacrament specific resources.
  • Session instruction with a Sacrament catechist two times in the Spring.
  • Two In-person Sacrament Retreats for parents and children in the Spring of 2025.
  • Weekly Mass attendance (in person or virtual) as a family.
