If ever a book of the Bible demands a commentary it is the Book of Revelation. With its graphic descriptions and its lurid pictures, the text may seem too gullible readers to be an early script for the movies. Our Thursday night study of the Book of Revelation, aims to console people in situations of persecution, present a particular interpretation of historical events that focuses on the justice and sovereignty of God and the triumph of good over evil, and persuade readers to keep covenant with God by living in a way that assures they will be among God’s elect in the end time. Join us on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm beginning September 12 in Education & Formation Building #107. Cost: $15. If you would like to join the class please email Betty Picard at epica2@yahoo.com.
