Schedule for Good Friday: Morning Prayer at 8:30 am, Midday Prayer at noon, Rosary at 1:00 pm, Stations of the Cross at 2:00 pm, Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm, and Good Friday Service at 7:00 pm. On Good Friday, we recall the passion and crucifixion of Jesus. A silent procession of the priest and deacons mark the continuation of the second day of the Triduum. A cross is ceremonially unveiled. Mass is not celebrated and the communion distributed at the Celebration of the Lord's Passion is consecrated the evening before. The Catholic faithful typically venerates the crucifix. We pray for the salvation of the world with sung intercessions and again, we leave in silence.
